Noodles the Kitten
I must admit I am smitten
as I write an ode to a kitten
this could not have been left unwritten
cute when playing or sittin
this ode is poignant and fittin
with the love bug, I've bee bitten
though she has ripped out my knitin
occasionally she's partial to spitin
and missing the tray that she shits in
I will gladly get Noodles to fit in
I will train her without quitin
from the note that I have written
It may become the battle of Britain
home insurance has been underwritten
it's maybe that I am a Briton
as a nation we love kittens
even those who've lost their mittens
this ode was lovingly typewritten
to Noodles the cat: Still a Kitten
