While Faeries watch
from the backs of
their steeds who
emulate our radiant
moon stretches
flitting in and out
of the rite fires…
We are
luminescing
girding one another
Yet
not quite touching
Consistently thin
this love within
my path knows when it’s time
to let go (go it alone)
Often as it is so
I am asked to choose a side
deflecting, I engage
in a **Dance of Avoidance
Healers
are meant to
straddle fences
& live
with a Familiar
or 2 for company

Wow! How often one is asked to dance this dance. For me, this is a wonderful work of balance and trying make everything work to everyone’s satisfaction. A thankless burden but worth a try. Wonderfully crafted!! H🌷

All too often my Friends do not see or realize
that i have a set of friends
who may love the arts (Ballet, Gallerys, Poetry)
and a set of friends who enjoy sports
but the 2 sets don't really have anything in common
other than a friendship with me.
i have ever been unable to choose sides
and so, i do not.
i lament a lot when friends collide but i will not
be forced to choose.
i have lost treasures in this stance but that is more the stages they are on than my own Tao.
Truly appreciate Your share with me and for the read. Thank You

Hello, I enjoyed this pen (love the wee folk) and particularly loved:

The rhyme sings as it is being read. I am almost able to hear an Irish accent within. A lovely poem
