~The Love Poet Queen~

I have dominated the desired and craved art  
Of describing exactly how a heart feels when it is broken apart  

I know how to rhyme with such an ease  
Two to four line stanza's are a breeze  
 
I have written about love before I understood  
Now I can understand that love is more then good  
 
Love can be evil and love can be mean  
But that kind of love is love kept hidden and unseen  
 
A love that one lies about and avoids  
Love that is based on the need to control and own  
 
Love that is hidden under a healthy layer of fear
A love we have no right to be feeling  
 
Yes, love is not always sunshine and rainbows  
Sometimes it is moonshine and rain
