Rare Pair

shivering from the cold
garden covered in frost
chilled wind tossing leaves

raindrops kiss petals
stimulating roots so fragile
intertwining under moist earth

rare purple vibrant roses
stand tall thru a storm
feeling each other’s strength

warm sun beams down
their petals open to greet
it’s touch of warmness

so graciously they grow
toward sacred light
from heavens above

night falls upon the land
wind whispers a rhythmic lullaby
as petals kiss and leaves hug

so romantic under stars
they fall asleep wrapping stems
flowers sigh of their fragrance luv
