adios!
you syllabicate
your solemn farewell
with sparse brevity

omigosh!
why could not you wait
for a better spell
with more levity

ominous!
rings the final fate
deathly sentinel
such severity

what a loss!
could you really hate
after love’s chantelle    
no more dignity

con Dios!
vaya while i wait
tongues can never tell
why you punish me

albatross!
there the open gate
let your wings propel
reason o’er the sea

adios!
why procrastinate
you can go to hell
stay instead with me

marvelous!
joy so consummate
how the heart doth swell
new-world symphony
