more just moving on and out of childhood

Beautiful poem of the loss of innocence. Each touch was painted with words that make me wish my youth had been less tame. But I have your poetry for the virtual experience of a voyeur.

As one gets older, such memories hold great charm.  You've captured that moment of discovery in quite a titillating way.

Can one live happy,
once upon a memory
resurrected so?

Perhaps a fleeting charge, but it does little to serve present appetites which may need feeding.  Regular touch would be a requirement of happiness.  Such memories may only serve to fuel future ambitions.
