Phantomb

I've left parts of me in yesterday
Parted hearts with sharpened darts
pardoned ends with gardened starts

Hoping the flowers would bloom
into something much more than me in this tomb
I've been consumed by a wretched perfume
With a stench that lingers in this depressing ballroom

Tall plumes fall from cauldron centerpieces
resting helplessly
Smoked cigarettes selfishly cling
to tabacco lungs

Music sheets stained in frames with drunk Love
Blank pages replace the space
where they once naively hung

Shadows romance with twisted tongues
dancing upon these floral wallpapered walls
Unsung Whispers swish in the distance
in these antiquated halls
Tuesday's tango chased Wednesday's waltz
I've left parts of me in yesterdays velvet lined Vault
