To be honest Josh, I not sure anymore. I cant remember a darker time worldwide, or maybe i just too jaded.

It is indeed a dark time - it reminds me of my parents talking about the 1930s and inevitable lead-up to another war - and there was nothing they could do about it. And I've heard it from both sides - my in-laws were German and said similar things about the rise of Hitler etc and watched it all aghast thinking 'oh shit, not again' ... and all with with WW1 a bare 20 years previously. My solution is to be aware but busy oneself with the creative process.

Being the "Nietzschean Nihilist" that I am, not much surprises me in today's world...the Will to Power...greed and hatred...Nietzsche nailed it...he saw our future and the last humans blink. Great write Kitty.
