A Song of Harmony
The air up here is thinner,
Cleaner,
And the views are quite amazing,
Almost mystic,
As you walk through the forest,
The trees are simply beautiful,
And majestic.
Amidst the crowds of visitors taking photographs,
There is something different in the atmosphere,
Here the giants keep secrets,
Ancient wisdom of the ages,
Knowledge of Mother Earth.
The trails are filled with people,
From different parts of the world,
And yet the giants stand there quietly,
Their leaves swaying,
Whispering,
Curious of our interest in them.
The sequoias seem to chant a song,
When the winds blows,
Their voices raising to the sky,
In a sea of trees in the mountain breeze,
and greenery,
The scenery of nature and beauty,
For the human eye.
The majestic giants whisper to each other,
In the gentle wind,
A song of harmony.
