A long time ago,  
There was a little girl,  
Kinda of a shining light  
 sent down to this world..  
 
She was raised up fast  
but inside she grew real slow,  
How that girl made it  
Dont nobody know  
 
An angel from heaven,  
With a heart made of  
gold...  
A simple reminder,    
to keep Jesus in your  
soul..  
 
Haunted by her demons,  
It was anything, to ease her pain..  
Just trying to find a little comfort ,    
that girl turned to the devil when she hurt...  
 
Hey girl, if your listening,  
Im sorry that you hurt for so long.  
And for me, I'm wishing you could a been a little more strong,  
 
But if there's one thing i learned from you

Life soon made a momma  
 out that girl,  
3 little babies  
She brought in to this world.  
 
Those golden twins  
Then that little boy,  
"Oh"! how they gave her life and they brought her joy.  
 
Things went bad pretty damn fast  
then like it always did, it all just got worse...  
You should of seen that  
Look in her eyes,  
 when That judge man said  
 they couldnt be hers...    
 
She never left that day behind,  
oh crying while saying goodbye  
 thats when that girl went outta her mind..

Thought to be turned away by god above...  
Turns out we were sheltered by his hands of love!!!  
 
As years passed  
Time slipped away  
An like a thief, pain robbed her sanity!!  
Now addiction has us here at her grave today,  
 We embrace, as we cry saying goodbye, i turn and say Girls  
thank god that girl is finally free....
