Rain Is Not Bad
I hate that people associate
rainy days with being bad
I quite enjoy them
especially this one
I'm happy
and the rain makes it better
It's just water
I don't get what's so terrible about it
Maybe its a minor inconvenience
but its not that bad
Or maybe i'm just crazy
because I love the feel of rain

You are in no wise crazy. It's refreshing and the petrichor is intoxicating. Plus, I don't have to cut the lawn when it rains...bonus! Brava, Marina!
I also like the parallel with the pain and trials we go through in life are all bad but rather many benefit us by making us stronger, more aware of other's suffering.

Bishop Desmond Tutu would have agreed; he once told an audience in England when an event was rained on that in his continent rain is regarded as a blessing. And I agree that it does give an excuse to leave off gardening and to get on with something indoors.
I take the risk of being rained on when I do early morning exercise runs. The only time I aborted a run, I made up by showering (soap and all) in my backyard in the heavy rain then falling.
