Freedom Ain't Free

You're not free if you can't be the you that you want to be
Anything less than that, in jest, is just a delusional fantasy
Life's hypocrisies be vexing me when I exercise my deep thoughts
Is what we see on t.v. & reality the results of wars that were fought

We're caught in the matrix where outrageous acts occur nonstop
For instance even nonresistance can get you killed by a cop
A traffic stop can get you popped & then be ruled as a suicide
Just playing outside where you reside leads to "justified homicide"

So they lied & I decry that this isn't the land of the free
At least how I perceive it isn't free for each & everybody
If you're wealthy you're likely out of touch with the real world
It's disguised in your eyes & is full of diamonds & pearls

Take a thorough look outside the bubble that encompasses your views
Use critical thinking when consuming the social media news
It's easily confused as truth but is nothing more than misinformation
The age of information makes it easier to verify by using other stations
