There's this apocalyptic void that he left inside her
By her demons chained and caged,
Craving a feeling but her heart they maimed
Inside a closet entrapped and hidden,
By the darkness consumed and destroyed
Her dreams shuttered and into pieces scattered,
By her thoughts drowned and drenched
Amidst the ruins and the misery lost,
Relentlessly begging, screaming for death to devour her
But by her very own voice betrayed
Her garment feels like a million needle pricks,
Her entire body like a drained battery
Her eyes, what a meshwork of bitterness.!.
Can't face the world, can't deal with life
Every love story is a tragedy if you live long enough to witness the end
She just happens to be the sole witness to a love gone sour,
And she barely survived the witnessing
To her he was the entire goddamn sky
To him she was just another tiny star, just a vessel of pleasure
She saw forever in his eyes, he saw vulnerability in her naivety
There's this apocalyptic void that he left inside her
A void that's now screaming to be let out to the void of this world
The sun is drowning in her chest, the moon and the stars already buried in it
"but he couldn't just leave like that," she swears to herself
Except apparently he could.!.
