Empty Mind Time and Heart, 135…246
Too much time on my hands
Too much heart on my mind
No solid place for me to stand
No paradise to find
Helpless as waves wash away my sand
Complete abandonment, the isolation is kind
Where there is empty there should be plenty of room
Full of ideas in areas of gray
Where there is sun is where life should bloom
Supported and assisted but the light would not stay
Thoughts would be right but you’re wrong to assume
Said you’d be here tomorrow but I need you today
I’m getting used to neglect
One idea or many, I can’t tell what’s worse
Can’t party with angels when you’re the devils reject
When your head is full of nothing you long for it to burst
Mind time and heart are broken no need to protect
No room to enjoy the gift when you’re suffering from a curse
Too much heart on my mind
No solid place for me to stand
No paradise to find
Helpless as waves wash away my sand
Complete abandonment, the isolation is kind
Where there is empty there should be plenty of room
Full of ideas in areas of gray
Where there is sun is where life should bloom
Supported and assisted but the light would not stay
Thoughts would be right but you’re wrong to assume
Said you’d be here tomorrow but I need you today
I’m getting used to neglect
One idea or many, I can’t tell what’s worse
Can’t party with angels when you’re the devils reject
When your head is full of nothing you long for it to burst
Mind time and heart are broken no need to protect
No room to enjoy the gift when you’re suffering from a curse
