I am the Mountain
I am the mountain.
I hug it's girth.
Toes bury deep within the earth,
foundation strong and ancient.
Paint monolith in mind's eye
As purple stains my breath
Salient.
Eons' fire-forged formative fit
Now sits
And waits.
Once scaled by saints,
Unshakable faith; tethered
In my mind's meditation.
Weathered by storms; eroded, reformed,
Creation.
It's duty to observe
And to shelter; provide
Protection.
I am the mountain.
I know it's worth.
I hug it's girth.
Toes bury deep within the earth,
foundation strong and ancient.
Paint monolith in mind's eye
As purple stains my breath
Salient.
Eons' fire-forged formative fit
Now sits
And waits.
Once scaled by saints,
Unshakable faith; tethered
In my mind's meditation.
Weathered by storms; eroded, reformed,
Creation.
It's duty to observe
And to shelter; provide
Protection.
I am the mountain.
I know it's worth.
