The earth has left me
No ground beneath my feet
Falling
Free
Falling
Only falling
How long have I been falling?
Maybe forever
Time ceased
falling is all I remember
falling
Falling
I fall no more
Up and down extinct
No starting point
No discernible end
No gravity
weighing me down
Only oblivion
beautiful
blissful
eternal oblivion
No wait
What’s that?
the ground !
I see it
Falling again
Faster now
Faster
Here it comes
the earth
Wait for it

Thank you for the background to the poem - but hope the others might be of interest anyway. Of course, I guess both of them can be read metaphorically as well as literally.

This is like stepping into the abyss lol...great ink indeed...and perhaps it is always that evil that Pandora never released from her jar...HOPE...that we all keep seeing but never quite reaching.
