Just a little sad today
If I wasn’t so afraid
I would find a way
To tell you
How I still sink with doubt
In this dreary world
I wonder
If my name lingers
Even a wisp of of thought
In your crowded mind
I loved loving you
I loved your darkness
And the plumpness of your
Bottom lip.
In the wake of your absence
I am an ocean
Of vulnerability
And in the hazardous blue
I am weak because of you
Fighting to reach the surface
I fear change
But you left anyway
And now I sit in the parking lot
Staring at the empty seat in my car
It’s quiet here
A silent white
With little day and uncomfortable night
I would find a way
To tell you
How I still sink with doubt
In this dreary world
I wonder
If my name lingers
Even a wisp of of thought
In your crowded mind
I loved loving you
I loved your darkness
And the plumpness of your
Bottom lip.
In the wake of your absence
I am an ocean
Of vulnerability
And in the hazardous blue
I am weak because of you
Fighting to reach the surface
I fear change
But you left anyway
And now I sit in the parking lot
Staring at the empty seat in my car
It’s quiet here
A silent white
With little day and uncomfortable night
