THE DEVIL LOVES YOU (WHEN GOD IS DEAD)

I see that your pain has got you empty
It seems your tears are drowning in mordant poetry
As you read my words you sell your soul to me

When the heart is broken on the altar of despair
And every waking moment is born of nightmares
Nothing will ever murder away the sorrow
You will find me among the ravens and sparrows

Diabolus te diligit
Ubi est Deus mortuorum

The devil loves you
When God is dead

Because I love to taste your suffering
The devil is in the details of burnt offerings
Sacrifice what's left to the phantom machine

You come from a cemetery of fraudulent liars
Now rise from the ashes and relight the fires
Ascend from the servitude of all the vermin
Let me bathe you in the blood of infernal serpents

Diabolus te diligit
Ubi est Deus mortuorum

The devil loves you
When God is dead

I hear your wants and needs
When you're all alone
You seek something divine
But you are mine

When the heart is broken on the altar of despair
And every waking moment is born of  nightmares
Nothing will ever murder away the sorrow
You will find me among the ravens and sparrows

Diabolus te diligit
Ubi est Deus mortuorum

The devil loves you
When God is dead

I am the savior inside your deepest desires
The crown of darkness that's wreathed in godless fire
Was the thorn in your side worth the penance for your deeds
All the pain and suffering seems to be your creed

I'LL SEE YOU BLEED
