Roll with me down the hill
with sparks between us
sure to be quite the thrill
“Running To Stand Still”
Cheek to cheek, spine to spine
moves I make on the floor
will never be divine
“Dancing On The Ceiling”
Bipolarity can create a spin
mania nonviolent in degree
might be the reason for this pen
we are but “Dust In The Wind”
Done with the bars and such
could use something that will last
in college was a huge rush
“Everything Is Different Now”
I’ii write a song by firelight
and reflect on epic myths
knights braving the good fight
my “Star Of The Story” not named

The search for connection...that ultimate connection...pulls hard in this poem. That first stanza caught me right off and kept me going through. Feeling this one
