The Most Lovely
Our lives have intertwined
For but a moment I'm sure
Though I know if the chance
ever were granted
My life would seem enchanted
Some magical light blessed to me
They say no such thing exists
Yet I know differently
Happiness has avoided me
Years and years yet our conversations
Leave me gleeful, bubbly
It's something I've never felt
I wish I could tell you
Yell it to you
The magical embodiment of bliss
I know I do not deserve it
Never could I earn it
But it's a dream I'll hold on to
Until I am unfortunate enough
To open my eyes and wake up.
For but a moment I'm sure
Though I know if the chance
ever were granted
My life would seem enchanted
Some magical light blessed to me
They say no such thing exists
Yet I know differently
Happiness has avoided me
Years and years yet our conversations
Leave me gleeful, bubbly
It's something I've never felt
I wish I could tell you
Yell it to you
The magical embodiment of bliss
I know I do not deserve it
Never could I earn it
But it's a dream I'll hold on to
Until I am unfortunate enough
To open my eyes and wake up.
