The midnight hour entraps me
No sleep will I find
Tossing askew and turning
I attempt to unwind
Eluding is the slumber
Dark and deep divine
Nights left to outnumber
Too many to define
Guide me to peaceful respite
Oh my God my light
Help me with my plight
