grave yard
saddened shadows
cold winds from ravens wings
ghosts mourn in reverence
dead flowers
meaningless tears
lying in the decaying soil
wilted dreams
damaged and destroyed
some will never recover

Each stanza contains at least one subject society may not visualize as having life, ie. being able to engage the senses. Looking for the cause with you provide the effect points my thoughts to events that took place in the past to ensure the dark hue.

I might adopt this as my hymn (lol) this was exceedingly good. Could identify with every word sadly. It really encapsulated my feeling today

You're right about that one, Lady. I've seen many a broken spirit staring aimlessly at a tombstone. And, worse, many a tombstone unkempt, but hopefully not forgotten.
A very sobering write indeed.

Thanjks deary. I loathe the cemetery/graveyard scene. Its depressing and sad. I feel we should celebrate those that are gone with they deem worthy of our time. Love to you sweets. <3

Hey there M.!!!
Great to see You!!!
Dig this perfect bit O bleak!!!
Graveyards are a waste of space...it is insult to those without land or home.
They had their time.
I believe in remembrance, I do love very old cemeteries, but again...not necessary.
The same reverence can be given on ones own property for any beloved individual or any sacred Natural space that meant something to them.
AnyWhoo ...
Great Stuff/Glad You are here!!!
