What it feels like
To see the sun and feel no warmth
Being in the rain, yet not getting wet
Falling off of a cliff, never to hit bottom
Is this what free feels like?
To like and never get anything in return
Hugging and never feeling that spark
Kissing thier lips; thier eyes still open
Is this what love feels like?
To be asleep, and eyes wide open
Nothing real, but everything right
People that you will never see; never miss
Is this what a dream feels like?
To look at yourself, to only stare back
No smiles, no tears of joy
Not looking forward to another day
Is this what life feels like?
To hold your hands together; just something to feel
Your own life and love lines you embrace
Not a pulse to feel cause you can't feel your own
Is this what alone feels like?
To see everyone together all around you
Holding your hand: saying nice things
Telling you they wish they could've seen you more
Is this what death feels like?
Being in the rain, yet not getting wet
Falling off of a cliff, never to hit bottom
Is this what free feels like?
To like and never get anything in return
Hugging and never feeling that spark
Kissing thier lips; thier eyes still open
Is this what love feels like?
To be asleep, and eyes wide open
Nothing real, but everything right
People that you will never see; never miss
Is this what a dream feels like?
To look at yourself, to only stare back
No smiles, no tears of joy
Not looking forward to another day
Is this what life feels like?
To hold your hands together; just something to feel
Your own life and love lines you embrace
Not a pulse to feel cause you can't feel your own
Is this what alone feels like?
To see everyone together all around you
Holding your hand: saying nice things
Telling you they wish they could've seen you more
Is this what death feels like?
