In Christ I stand

In Christ I stand

I have struggled with mental anguish, troubling emotions and a past life that gave me mental, physical and spiritual pain/ but I then looked over and I saw my Lord Jesus bound in chains/

The things in my life that I went through were unbearable and there have been times where I wanted to just give up and die/ but then I looked over and saw my Lord Jesus get beaten and whipped time after time/

I felt paralyzed and stagnant in life and all I could do is think of the conclusive outcome of defeat/ but then i looked over and saw my Lord Jesus get nailed in his hands and feet/

when it came to materials and my personal motivation I had nothing left and my self esteem and spirit had greatly diminished/ but before my Lord Jesus cried out, hung his head and gave up His Spirit he  said it is finished/

 I have been at my breaking point and knocked at deaths door and looked for a remedy that could  inspire and assure the belief of me being saved/ but then my Lord Jesus rose up and He lives again and He holds the keys of death and the grave/

What I went through was beyond hard and I couldn't relate my pain really to any other man/ But my Lord Jesus went through what I went through and more and in Him I  stand/
