love letters for the end of the world: iv
carved bones held
tight in my hands
when the earth shook.
a song in my mind.
the stomping of feet
and lifting of hands.
i knew
there was a line crossed there,
somewhere,
behind the absence of fear.
in the sudden trembling glee,
in the shifting of stones.
i wondered if there were yet more lines to cross.
tight in my hands
when the earth shook.
a song in my mind.
the stomping of feet
and lifting of hands.
i knew
there was a line crossed there,
somewhere,
behind the absence of fear.
in the sudden trembling glee,
in the shifting of stones.
i wondered if there were yet more lines to cross.
