Held Down At Knife Point
Fifteen years old
Palms sweating
Hands trembling
Bead of sweat
Temple trickles
Eye tick blinks
Nervous not scared
Well not quite
I have prepared
Planned necessary
Temperature rising
First time
Virgin at this
But determined
Must focus
Must be brave
Knife sharpened
Picked up
Blade glints
More focus
Cannot fail
Will not fail
Nervousness
Dissolves
Task confidence
Grows inside
Knife in hand
Slowly in silence
I approach
He's just lying
There motionless
Stretched out
Knife handle
Gripped tightly
I pause
Hold him down
At knife point
Initial deeply
Stabbed
I cut
Carve and slice
Him up
Like Jack
The Ripper
A round of
Applause
Expected
I await for
Congratulations
Not disappointed
A standing
Ovation received
Cherry broken
I'd done it
Thanksgiving
Turkey ready
To be served
