I met a girl who wasn't there
No one else noticed or they didn't care
I saw a girl who wasn't there again today
Oh how I wish
I wish she'd go away
She is always right beside me
Vacant eyes staring blindly
She will meet me again at three
Reminding me that she'll never leave
I saw a girl upon my stair
A girl who wasn't there

Waiting for my end of days

I have always heard that anxiety could be a brutal taskmaster. I think this succinctly captures that hopeless feeling and fear of not being able to overcome it.
