Unfiltered Truth

When all that you've learned has been tainted
Do you just accept how it's been painted
What do you do when the things you know
Seem to be fictional like these reality shows
I know that history is written by the victors
Like the remote bearers control the clickers
So how do we know what's the unfiltered truth
I desire the answers but don't know what to do
I peruse through documentaries and many books
Searching for knowledge like it's food on a hook
A fish in an ocean of sharks trying to survive
Filtering through all the static of media lies
Now if my eyes didn't witness the accomplishment
I have to be skeptical and wonder if it's all bullshit
I quit being gullible and assimilating to the status quo
Realizing that in this game we're being sold like hoes
