In This Place

quivering leaves in breezes blowing
from bay to shore they keep on flowing
invisible atoms of warm summer air
passing through palms in this place where

mountains are rising with feet in the sea
with canyons through forests, places to flee
down to the ocean for all of the raindrops
and dew in the morning from all of the hilltops

liquid sunshine's sparkling prisms
splashing and crashing by gravity driven
water in motion through summer air
a cooling commotion in this place where
