A few poems about sports.

a hardcore fan

children in dresses,
hostesses with flags
painted all over
their dancing bodies -
perhaps we can win;
but only if SHE
can scream loud enough.

Beauty of sports

A mob shouting "hurry the hell up!"
at proffesional athletes.
a stadium of lower class people
yelling "come on ya bloody wanker!"
at a bunch of milionares.
"you call that left hook idiot!?"
at a heavy-weight boxers.
"Go mid retard!"
at someone who spent years
perfecting their talent.
All in unicen;
All united;
Together.

Hockey

Pack of hunting dogs
chasing a dark rabbit
in the coldness of winter
among her white robes,
claws from wood and plastic,
and fur from cotton and steel
just hunters instead of gun -
are holding their tickets;
sitting in rows,
cheering along the rabbits run.

Author's Note
A friend of mine thought it would be a good idea to take me to a hockey and then beat me when instead of going crazy about whatever the people on the ice were trying to accomplish like everyone else I started writing poems about it.
They're not very good so I won't post them individually, but you hardly care, neither do I
so it's T90fine.
