POEM INSPIRED BY ABSENCE'S "SPREAD"

Your black bikini gives a thrill.
It emphasises the Brazil
waxing you lately underwent
with birthday money that was sent.

You seek a more extensive tan
when you hit the beach with your man.
I trust you kept a landing strip
for him when out of pants you slip.

Why should not skin look tempting smooth
in the hinterland of the groove?
The more skin there is for baring,
more invites adoring staring.

Triangle tantalisingly
at once maintains due modesty.
yet provocative when you spread
your legs, sparks thoughts of giving head.

It will bring him closer quarters
when you've frolicked in the waters
and on the shared towel baked dry
under the heat sent from the sky.
