internal struggles
Vanity is no sanity: reclaim your dignity.
“For the good that I would I do not: but the evil which I would not, that I do.” Romans 7:19 (KJV)
question not my quandary
when indignant flames
all-consume your vanity.
i shall soon regain
perfect equanimity,
while you drown in shame.
vile is your virility,
though you feel no pain;
utter your profanity,
though you take no blame.
here’s a word for sanity:
peace it shall reclaim.
evil your proclivity,
naught your remnant gain;
i shall keep my dignity,
lest i live in vain.
