Don't just take my innocence
But cradle it in your arms
May it be a great semblance
Of your convincing charms

Making me feel reassured
With your passionate calming effect
That my heart will be secured
For whatever happens next

Let me gaze into your eyes
And see the love you have to offer
With quick inhaled breaths, between sighs
As you feel what is softer

I slowly bare myself to you
Solely trusting in the faith
Of this love, of what it can do
Hoping beyond hope my soul will be safe

Still shivering with fear
As well as the anticipation
Letting you in, to all I hold dear
As you kiss away, my fleeting hesitation!
