immortal all natural woman
inside I'm hurting
the Queen of nothing has fallen
despised by the people
with an ego befitting an arrogant goddess
she twists within me
I have no choice but write
self-doubt and loathing assault me
I hate parts of who I am
why she chose me to speak through
is a mystery to me
aching grief of an immortal
scorned by a god in the time before
she vents coming through me full power
possessing many lovers on Earth
she seeks a King and equal
pushing buttons to see who rises--
her will is fierce don't spurn her
she causes chaos in my life then departs
the spirits whisper she is a tyrant
she wields all natural magic
the dark arts her native tongue
she's weaving a spell right now
do you feel her lure?
she can't be brought to heel
the deities no not where she originated
nor where she permanently resides
they get a bead on her then poof she is gone
back into the aether
willful and cruel if you cross her
but as gentle as a sunflower--
when you get to really know her
as for me, I love her
in her light, I am immortal
