A lesson learnt.

That isn’t a smile on my face to make it all ok
I’m just fixing the mask back in place
You won’t feel a thing I promise
As I take out my double edged hate

Satan is a sweetie don’t listen to those lies
He’ll throw you a party
Lend you his favourite cloak
Honour your final arrival

You’ll be ok, more than that
You’ll be a god, a deity, a dark saint
People will want you and you’ll fill their heads
An all consuming fire, you will be desired

See, it was just too easy
Look how your greed fed you up
Gluttony of your rancid ego
Now look, see I killed you!

Is it a good time to tell you I deceived you?
Hell’s not so nice, you got fooled
I saw your eyes light up
When you thought you hit the golden jack pot

Slit throat, bleeding out
You scream NO! but you have no voice
It’s funny really, no really it is
You just made my day

Satan joined my laughter, a cruel chorus
Picked you up around your gapping neck
Dropped you into his dusky pit
You fell to his domain, welcome to hell!

It’s my turn to let my eyes light up
When I think of you all alone
Clenched in fear and never getting free
I didn’t even have to work hard, pull out the stops

Now do you realise you don’t mess with me?
I would hope that people would take this as a warning
I can love you and be nice, we’ll have a good time
But hurt me, you'll suffer and you’ll soon die.
