It is
the unseen
within
that brings upon
the silent screaming
the fear
of those thoughts
that you carry
every day
that holds you
in a place
where you stand
blind
naked
and alone
Desperately clutching
with skeletal hands
the whispering
of promises
to fill your void
to bring you home
to the promised land
where if one
does not think
there is no longer
any reason
to fear
the void
within
blind
