Save Our Mother Earth
Sweet Mother Earth, who gives us the life
Why do we hurt you so?
You give us beauty with such grace,
Yet we throw trash upon your face.
We pollute your waters and kill your trees
Without giving it a thought.
We poison the air and destroy your shield,
Soon, you will have no more to yield.
Don’t we know that this is our home
That we so thoughtlessly kill?
God, open our eyes that we may see
What we do now, is what will be.
My heart aches so to watch you dying
By our very own hands.
Fellow sons and daughters whom she has birthed
Please help us save our Mother Earth.
