Human Paradox
Esoteric autistic
Obscure reaction to situations
Perplexing at times
Not unfathomable
Just politely misunderstood
As the label is not clearly marked
A living human paradox
Searching for connection
In the narrowest of terms
Bewildering and puzzling
Crossing lines unseen
With a thirsty curiosity
Throwing the world questions
That for all their combined intelligence
Can not comprehend
Still regarded an enigma
Maybe no longer a stigma
As the mist of ignorance begins to clear

This reads and feels to me like a poetically eloquent and under-the-skin deeply incisive 'introduction' to world of autism(asperger), (about which admit I generally know little). It has excellence and integrity written all over it.

Thanks very much for your appreciation. Your not alone in the fact about autism awareness. In fact before my diagnosis 12 yrs ago I had only the stereotypical view of the condition, so imagination my surprise when I was told I was autistic

There’s nothing wrong with neurodiversity ! In fact, I think many embrace the quirky ways of those who are constructed a little differently; internally.
Well now, the world would be a crazy place to live if we were made from the same template !
So. Embrace your differences, and cherish them instead of finding the anomalies to be a negative; when in fact, they’re an additional positive.
People who ‘get you’ and understand you; are your tribe, the rest can keep walking and you should pay no attention to those kind of closed minded people ! 🌹
