Why are there gates into Heaven if it's never too late to be forgiven?
Can we not just fall to our knees and beg for mercy there at the entrance?
I just don't see the God that you preach as someone to say "too late".
I can't see how he can stand to watch his children burn in Hell.
For Heaven's sake.
I don't understand
how a man
with so much virtue and honor,
can be someone
who allows his children
to be accepted as goners.

I like the thought process here. had it myself some time ago. if I remember correct, all one has to do is accept the man or cry out to him or something and all will be well. the gates are most probably to keep people in when they get tired of the place

That is the same for me, because we think like children.
His ways and thoughts are much higher than ours!
How hard would it be for us to allow our child to die on a cross if we could change it.
Galatians 2:21
"I do not nullify the grace of God, for if righteousness comes through the Law, then Christ died needlessly."
Ephesians 2:8-9
For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, so that no one may boast.

I often wonder about the logistical and moralistic implications of religious ideas that are often made up by men with their interpretations. Call it guilt or manipulation, I often think about how we can hold up to true kind human values.
