Quatern : Words In Walls

Walls flaking plaster, singing rhetoric
they're undecided, in thier songs
asking for hotdogs, they want cake
leaving us gazing at interior paint.

It's incomprehensible, musical score
walls flaking plaster, singing rhetoric
we've lived through chores, many more,
while the choice was intact, long before.

spoken words, wisdom from inner walls
bricks having held the foundation of
walls flaking plaster, singing rhetoric
chorusing in suezified rhythmic choirs.

fires burn slow from cavities smoking
smouldering, and destroying;
sitting in the glare of plasma, giggling
walls flaking plaster, singing rhetoric.

Author's Note
I don't know. The damn quatern poem sat in my drafts forever, just has to either delete or fit in the book or something. I can't even remember why I wrote it initially or even why I never submitted it. Might have been syllables, flow, topic or some other thing that made it hang. Oh well it's out, if it rides the page badly, I'll smash the delete button!
