A Turn Of Events

Whether stove top or oven slop
my cooking was creative
to which he claimed
and still maintains
"my dear that is debative"
yet, I'll admit
as to the smell
some words like shit
were used along with swell

and when he brings it up
I will remind the pup (dog)�.

"those buns in my oven
due to your lovin',
the tummy swell
and all the hell
that was relative,"
by telling him....
"you could have been
a little more creative"

Though fictional, it truly does depict one of the many things that has kept us together over the years, in that we both have a good sense of humor, (be it a little twisted and warped), and can dish it out and take it, whether with a smile or a growl.
