You gotta be in my neck of the woods. I swear it's been nonstop waterspout here. Waking us up with flash flood alerts in those high pitched terrifying cell alarms. Thus far my basement remains above the water line...knocking on every bit of wood I can find it holds out. Does make a person feel a bit eh after a while though. I'm diggin' this one

Have more than enough wood for you to knock on here, with the two trees uprooted in our back yard last week, and four more in the neighbors. Straight line winds combined with the ground being saturated, so they say, but was still scary as hell.

After getting the estimate for removal, thinking of taking up chainsaw carving, perhaps a memorial tribute to the 'Poem Worm' lol.

Rarely is it not a blessing...but those but we do get the occasional hurricane...and  then...the she-he-it does a dance with the proverbial fan and you know how it goes from there... Hugs, Ely

After watching the news and seeing what others are going through, flooding and tornados, I'm thankful to be dealing only with a gloomy month, and not bailing or rebuilding.

Sadly some seem to think the world should be at their beck and call, when the reality of it is just the opposite, and all we should really be concerned with is how we treat this plant and its inhabitants while we're traversing this stopover on our respective journeys.
