Stormy
The subtle rumble in the distance
The way the air feels different
A feathery tingle of something exciting
Curls its way up my spine
Sending chills to every part of my soul
The taste of excitement on my tongue
The first small pearl of rain
Makes a soft sound as it finds its resting place
A light flickers briefly
Reminding me of wonders that lie ahead
The winds blow harder
The rain is driving and overflowing
The thunder booms in glory
As the crack and whip of lightening
Pleases the eye, yet inspires fear
It is during these wondrous inspirations
Of nature at its finest
My every ounce of being misses you the most, my dear...
