Soul on Fire
It’s that something about her beauty,
That drives him wild with desire,
But he shot himself with his own potion,
Now the emotion has set his soul on fire.
He lingers on the trace of her presence,
When her essence sends him dreaming,
His senses reel in splendor of her appeal,
A million feelings of passions teeming.
And there he goes flying amidst the birds,
His soul on fire as his blood is churning.
He’ll profess his love uttering the words,
He’ll confess his suffering and his yearning.
