Renewed world

 Honey, it's perfectly normal,
that you distrust what is not familiar.
 Because it is still unknown.
 Intangible not even in sight.
 It's okay no one's fault.
Certainly not yours. You don't hurt.
 Innocence.
 Patience.

You need time to learn to trust.
Steps in the sand. Build up.
 Slowly, discovering, learning,
 searching for beginning and end.
 It starts, itches, attracts, repels.
 It is trial and error.
 Navigating, between large waves.
 Yes, you will bump
 but don't fear,
you have not been alone for a single count.

Author's Note
I'm having a friend with Disorders. We had a conversation last night, after which I wrote this poem. Just to remind her, she is and will never be alone, even when I am not with her physical. And it is hard to get back out there, when depressions ruled your world for a long time.
