《☆》

light fades
shadows fall short along the walls
curtains are drawn to push out
any existing light

darkness swells
bringing quiet in the solitude
only sound, her breath
slow and methodical

she closes her eyes
scent of the day
wrapped around her
sweet robe of earth and cool rivers

bathing in the blackness
where she remains untouchable
only her thoughts
quiet whispers, fall on sharpened senses

she longs for nothing
for no one, lost in the quietude
she just is
sometimes that's enough
