I often wonder about us and how the universe  
conspired with time. Temporal unfettered  
with no constraints and freed to commit to
romantic mischief.
 
To what heights, what depths did we touch?
as unfathomable as the answer escapes me
the fact remains……..
You touched me
I touched You
we touched, gently spiritually while
our senses elevated due to our willingness
for transparency and vulnerability.
 
As each hour passes from yesterday
into the next clear and present  
we find that we’ve
laughed together
cried together
chatted about life and life after  
 
and love
 
We fall deeper and deeper into
one another though we have never
touched skin to skin.
 
The quantifiable phenomenon.
and indivisible quanta
has painted  
 
a perfected scenario constructed  
through universal synchronicity
 
 
Feeling understood, accepted, loved,  
thankful…..
