Frameworks

She’s got these alluring honey brown eyes,
    Inviting,
    Exciting,
    Seductive
    With elusive airs,
It’s tempting to look in her soul,
Yet in her subtle stares,
There’s an appealing magnetism
                                     Like a prism
Or a schism within my internal frameworks
Into the abstract
    and beyond the unknown
Where I have no control.

It’s a
D e
 c o n
   s t r u c
      t i o n
Of all logic and reason,
When the gaze from her eyes
Stirs an emotion,
It rocked my world
With a jolt I've never felt before,
            I had to…
Rethink my life,
    Restructure my paradigms,
Still wondering
How did this come to be?

This is not just lust.

This is something that
Has perplexed me for days,
      For years
(since I’ve lost sense of time ;-)
I’ve had to ponder deeply
  Reaching into my core
Where the foundations of my very being
  Were redefined,
Because this ode has no structure,
No rhyme or reason
And all I can do is ask myself honestly,
How much can I love her?
When she looks at me with those honey brown eyes.
