To Depression and Schizophrenia

You are a demon who enrages me; who keeps me down and often cages me.
You keep me afraid of society; but, hopefully, I can achieve a bit of notoriety.
With you in my life, I often feel alone; though I have my kitties and my man to bone.
You've held me back from succeeding; you've kept me self-abused and bleeding.
You have held me down from flying; so, before, I have felt like dying.
You have caused me much confusion; and to be in a constant state of delusion.
But, you have helped me find my soulmate; away from a man who would constantly masturbate.
You have kept me, from this world apart; but, without you, I wouldn't have found the man who belongs to my heart.
You will always be a part of my soul;
Mental illness makes me half of a person and a whole.
