THAT'S WHY CHRIST CAME.
He left His upper home and came to earth
as He saw people lost, immersed in pain.
He came to show them how a man can free
himself from pain, and highest joy attain.

Man lives great life when he lives through his soul,
which never dies and his joy can restore.
God gave that joy to Adam and his Eve
and told them by pure life they could secure.

That life was shown when God washed His men's feet
although He knew that Passion was so near.
He said the liege is he who serves the group
and takes them out of pain as they are dear.

He loved and gave, but never took for self.
His precious meed was seeing men appeased.
No agony could wreck His noble soul
when He beheld the souls of men were pleased.
